AN ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION .OF THE COUNTY OF
BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AN "R-3" (MEDIUM DENSITY
RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT, PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 24-29.
1 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
2 California, under .anc~ pursuant to..Chapter 24 29 .off the Butte. County
3 Code of said County DO ORDAIN as follows:
4 SECTION 1. The hereinafter descxibed area situated in
5 the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby
g zoned as an "R-3" (Medium Density Residential) District, and such
7 area shall be subject tv the restrictions and restricted uses and
g regulations hereinafter specified and provided.
g Said area so zoned being located in the unincorporated
lp area of Butte County, Chico, more particularly described as follows:'
ll Beginning at the intersection of the southerly
extension of the centerline of Ceanothus Avenue
Z2 and the south right-of-way line of Manzanita
Avenue; thence along said right-af-way ~.ine of
13 Manzanita Avenue N 59° 3b' 57" E, 1112.61 feet;
thence S 30° 15' 00" E, 437.00 ft.; thence S
Z4 57° 23'00" W, 543.29 ft. thence N 87° 02'
00" W, 72.00 ft.; thence S 84° 47'.26" W, 652.89
l5 ft.; thence N 00° 05' 06" E, 163.14 ft. to the
true point of beginning...

Containing 9.69 acres, more or-less, Chaco,

18 SECTION 2, REGULATIONS FOR AN "R-3" DISTRICT:
19 The following regulations shall. apply an an "R-3" Distract
2a ~ (A) USES PERMITTED:
21 - 1. One-family dwellings, two-family dwellings and multi-
22 ple family dwellings, not including tents, trailers,
23 or mobile homes. .
24 2, Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted uses.
25 3. Household pets (but not including livestock, poultry
2S or poisonous reptiles).

(B) THE FOLLOWING USES SUBJECT TO SECURING A USE PERMTT

1. Golf courses and country clubs.
2. Public and quasi.-public uses including churches, fire-
houses, hospitals, parks and playgrounds, schools and
public utility buildings.
3. Sales tract office.
(C) The provisions of Section 24-3~ shall apply.
SECTTON. 3. A11 uses of land within the district not
specifically authorized and permitted are prohibited.
Il SECTION 4. In compliance with the provisions of said
12 Butte County Code, Chapter 24, the same is hereby amended by adding
~3 Ilthis Ordinance in full.
14 SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the zoning
15 hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided in the
16 Butte County Code, Chapter 24, this Ordinance shall from and after
17 its effective date become a supplement to and part of the Butte
18 County Cade, Chapter 24.
l9 SECTION fi. This O~rdin an ce shall be and it is hereby
20 declared to be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30)
2l days after the date of its passage, and.befare the expiration of
22 fifteen (15) days after its passage, this Ordinance shall be
23 published once with the names of the members of the Board of
24 Supervisors voting for and against it in the Chico E~ii~erprise Record
25 a newspaper published in the County of Butte, State of Cal ifoxnia.
