McCLURE AJM/vlh Enclosures cc: Drainage District 100 i NOTICE OF GENERAL ELECTION FOR THE ELECTION OF DIRECTOR FOR DRAINAGE DISTRICT 100 (One position of Director) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Drainage District 100 will conduct a General District Election on the 8`b day of November, 2016, for the purpose of electing the position of Director. The term for the position of Director shall be for four(4)years or until the Director's successor qualifies and takes office. 1. To qualify, a candidate must be a person holding title to real property within the District. 2. If insufficient nominations are received and a petition for election is not filed within the time period stipulated in Election Code section 10515, appointment to elective office will be made as prescribed within the Election Code section 10515. 3. Declarations of Candidacy may be obtained at the office of Drainage District 100 located at, 1205 School St, Richvale, CA 95974, and must be returned there no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 12, 2016, and no candidate shall withdraw his or her Declaration of Candidacy after that date. If the incumbent elective officer does not file a Declaration of Candidacy by the indicated deadline, the time to file is extended to August 17, 2016. 4. The election will be conducted by Drainage District 100 and its designated representatives.
