ORDINANCE N0. 2021
AN ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF
BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AN "R-3" (MEDIUM DENSITY
RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT, PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 24-29.
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, S Late of
Gal if ornia,...un.der.and.pursuant to Chapter.24-29 0~ the Butte _Gounty

Code of said County DO ORDAIN as follows.
SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situated in
the Gounty of Butte, State of California, sha11 be and it is hereby
zoned as an "R-3" (Medium Density Residential) District, and such
area sha11 be subject to the restrictions and restricted uses and
regulations hereinafter specified and provided.
Said area so zoned being located in the unincorporated
area of Butte Gounty, Chico, more particularly described as follows:
Lot 3 of "Almandor Estates Sub." per map of
record in Map Baok 27 an Pages 23 and 24 of the
Butte County Recorder.
Containing 0.75 acres, more or less, Chico.
SECTION 2. REGULATIONS FOR AN "R-3" DISTRICT:
The following regulations shall apply in an "R-3"
District.
(A} USES PERMITTED:
1. One-family dwellings, two-family dwellings and multi-
ple-family dwellings, not including tents, trailers,
or mobile homes.
2. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted uses.
3. Household pets (but not including livestock, poultry
ar poisonous reptiles).
(B} THE FOLLOWING USES SUBJECT TO SECURTNG A USE PERMIT
IN EACH CASE.
1. Golf courses and country clubs.

2. Public and quasi-public uses including churches, fire-
. __... _haus.es., haspztals, parks, and playgrounds, ,schools and,
public utility buildings,...
3. Sales tract office.
{C) SITE REQUIREMENTS:
The provisions of Section 24-33 sha11 apply.
SECTION 3. All uses of land within the district not
specifically authorized and permitted axe prohibited.
SECTION 4. In compliance with the provision s. of said
Butte County Code, Chapter 24, the same is hereby amended by adding
this Ordinance in full .
SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the zoning
hereby unposed within the district shall be as provided in the
Butte County Code, Chapter 24, this Ordinance-shall from and after
its effective date became a supplement to and part of the Butte
County Code, Chapter Z~.
SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall be and 5.t is hereby
declared to be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30)
days after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of
fifteen (1~) days after its passage, this Ordinance sha11 be
published once with the names of the members of the Board of .
