AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24 OF THE
BUTTE COUNTY CODE

Section 1. That Chapter 24 of the Butte County Code is
hereby amended by adding §24-21.452 to read as follows:
§24~-27..452. WOOD PROCESSING:
The production of rough cut lumber (as is camnnonly
known in the timber industry), firewood and wood chips by a chippin
machi.z~e .
Section 2. The Board of Supervisors find and declare that

this amendment made to Chapter 24 of the Butte County Code by this
ordinance is a clarification and restatement of the existing law.
5ectioh 3. This ordinance shall be and it is hereby
dec7_ared to be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30)
days after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of
fifteen (15) days after is passage, this ordinance shall be
published once with the names of the members~of the Board of
Supervisors voting for and against it in the Oro,rille
MexcUry , a newspaper published in the County of Butte,
State of California.
