The Board of supervisors of the County of Butte, State of 2 California., under. and.pursuan.t.to Chapter 24-2.9 of the.But~e Goun~y_. 3 Code of said County D0 ORDAIN as follows: 4 SECTION. 1 The hereinafter described area situated in the 5 ounty of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby zones g as a "C-2" {General Commercial).District, and such area sha11 be 7 subject to the restrictions and restricted uses and regulations g ereinafter specified and provided. 9 Said area so zoned being located in the unincorporated 10 rea of Butte County, Paradise, more particularly described as 11 follows: 12 Parcels 1 and 2 of that certain Parcel Map filed in the office of the Recorder, County of Butte, State of Calif- 13 ornia, an November 29, 1976 in Baak 60 of Parcel Maps at pages 13 and 14. 14 That portion of Parcel 4 of that certain parcel map filed 15 in the office of the Recorder, County of Butte, State of California, on August 28, 1974 in Baolc SO of Parcel Maps 16 at pages 49 and 50 lying south of the following described line: Commencing at the most southerly corner of Lot 74 17 of Indian Aieadaws Subdivision Unit 3, as recorded in the office of the Re carder,. Dwellings and dwelling groups, subject to the building site area, lot width and yard requirements specified for residentl.al districts, 2. Ail uses. permitted in "C-1'T (bight Commercial) Distracts. 3. General commercial uses including ar:t shops, aviaries, bar and cocktail longes, billiard parlors and pool hails, bowling alleys, building material. (retail), cleaning and pressing establishments,,dance halls, interior decorating shops; employment agencies, governmental Yegislative buildings, gymnasiums, public: commercial or physical cultural studios, hospitals, hotels and motels, laborataraes and x-ray facilities, massage parlors and reduczng salons; equipment rentals; pet shops,-used car lots, repair garages, auto car washes, plumbing shops, cabinet shops, sign manufactur• ing shops, drive-in restaurants, and other retail establishments when interpreted as similar. 4•: Accessary uses and buildings pertinent to a permitted use. (C) THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 24-33 OF THIS CODE ARE MODIFIED FOR ALL BUILDING SITES IN C-2 ONE: Z IN THE FALLOWING PARTICULARS: 1. Lot Width required. Minimum lot width shall not be less than twenty-.five (25) feet . The lot width.. requirements for residential. dwellings shall .conform to the requirements for any residential zone. 2. Side yard requirements. None, except wIiere the side of a lot abuts upon the side of a lat in an "R" District, in which case the abutting side yard shall not be less than five (5) feet; and except where the.side yard on the .street ,side of a corner lot abuts on an "R" District; in which case the side yard on the street side shall be - one-hal£ the front yard required in such "R" Districts The side yard requirements for any residential. dwellinl shall conform to the;,,requirements for any residentia l zone . 3. In compliance with the provisions of said 6 utte County Code, Chapter 24, the same is hexeby amended by adding 7 his Ordinance in full. 8 SECTION S. The penalties far the vialationsof the zoning g ereby imposed within .the district sha11 be as provided intthe 3.0 utte County Code,~Chapter 24, this Ordinance-shall from and-after 11 its effective date became a supplement to and part of the Butte 12 ounty Code, Chapter 24. I.3 SECTION 6..
