PI7RSUANT TO CHAPTER 24-29. 1 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of 2 . Dwellings and dwelling groups, subject to the build- _. ing..site. area, lot. i~~idth and .yard .requ~.rements_. spe.ci- Pied for residential districts. 2. All uses permitted in "C-1" (Light Commercial) Districts. 3. General commercial uses including art shops, aviaries, bar and cocktail lounges, billiard parlors and pool halls, bawling alleys, building material (retail), cleaning and pressing establishments, dance halls, interior decorating shops, employment agencies, governmental legislative buildings, gymnasiums, public, commercial or physical cultural studios, hospitals, hotels and motels, laboratories and x-ray facilities, massage parlors and reducing salons, ~;nizipment rentals, pet shops, used car lots, repair garages, auto car washes, plumbing shops, cabinet shops, sign manufacturing shops, drive-in restaurants. and other retail establishments when interpreted as similar. 4. Accessory uses and buildings pertinent to a permitted use.. . (B) THE FOLLOWING USES SUBJECT TO SECURING A USE PERl~4IT ,IN EACH CASE. 1. (C) THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 24-33 OF THIS CODE ARE MODIFIED FOR ALL BUILDING SITES IN C~-Z ZONE: IN THE FOLLOWING PARTICULARS: 1. Lot width required: Minimum lot width shall not be less than twenty-fl.ve (25) .feet. The lot width requirements fox residential dwellings shall conform to the requirements for any residential zone, 2. Side yard requirements. None, extent where-the side of a lot abuts upon the side of a lot in an "R" District, in which case the abutting side yaxd shall not be less than five {5) feet; and except where the side yard on the street side of a corner lot abuts on an "R" District, in which case the side yard on the street side shall be one-half the front yard required in such "R" Districts, The side yaxd requirements for residentia dwellings shall ,conform to the requirements for any residential zone. 3. Rear yard required. SECTION 3. All uses of land within the district na specifically authorized and permitted are prohibited. SECTION 4. In compliance with the provisions of said Butte County Cade, Chapter 24, the same is hereby amended by adding this Ordinance in full. SECTION 5. The penalties fox the violation of the zoning hereby imposed within the district shall be as pxovided in the ~IButte County Code, Chapter 24, this Ordinance shall from and after its effective date become a supplement to and paxt of the Butte County Code, Chapter 24. SECTTON 6. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby de Glared to be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30) days after tl~e date of its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage, this Ordinance sl~all be published-once with the names of the members of the Boaxd of ,Supervisors voting for and against it in the Paradise Post, a new s paper published in the County of Butte, State of Cal ifarnia.
