AN ORDINANCE ZONING A POP.TION OF THE COUNTY OF
BUTTE, STATE QF CALIFORNIA, AN "R-3" (MEDIUM DENSITY
RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT,-PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 24-29.
The Board of Supervisars of the County of Butte, State of
California, under..and pursuant to Chapter Z~-Z9 of ,the, Butte County..
Code of said County DO GRAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situated in
the County of Butte, .State of California, shall be and it is hereby
zoned as an "R-3" (Medium Density Residential} District, and such
area shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted uses and
regulations herein after specified and provided.
Said area .so zoned being located in the unincorporated
area of Butte County Chico, more particularly described as folloi4=s:
The easterly 184.8 ft. of the southerly 300 ft.
of Lot 9 of."Bidwell 8th Sub" per map of record
in Map Book' S on Page 22 of the Butte County
Recorder.
Containing 1.27 acres, more ar less, Chico
SECTION Z. REGULATIONS FOR AN "R-3" DISTRICT:
The follot,ring regulations shall apply in an "R-3"
District.
(A) USES PER?~'iTTTED:
1. One-family dwellings, t~vo-family dwellings and multi-
ply-family dwellings, not including tents, trailers,
~or mobile homes.
Z. Accessory buildings pertinent to tl~.e permitted uses.
3. Household pets. (but not including livestock, poultxy
or poisonous reptiles}.
(B) THE FOLLOii~ING USES ARE PERMITTED SUBJECT TO SECURI, G

1 1. Golf courses and country clubs.

g (C) THE PROVISIONS OP SECTION 24-33 SHALL APPLY.
q SECTION 3. All uses of land within the district not
8 specifically authorized and permitted are prohibited.
9 SECTION 4. In compliance with the provisions of said
10 Butte County Gade, Chapter 24, the same is hereby amended by adding
11 this Ordinance in full ,
12 SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the zoning
13 hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided in the
14 -Butte County Code, Chapter 24, this Ordinance shall front and after
1~ its effective date become a supplement to and part of .the Butte
16 County Code, Chapter 24. ~ '
17 SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby
18 declared to Ue in full farce and effect from and after thirty (~9)
19 days after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of
20 fifteen (l5) days after its passage, this Ordinance shall be
. 21 published once t+rxth the names of the members of the Board of
22 Supervisors voting for and against xt in the G~;~.co Enterprise Recorc
23 a newspaper published in the County of Butte, State of California,
24 PASSED AND ADOPTED BY the Beard of Supervxsars of the
25 County of Butte, State of California, on the 7th day of August
26 1979, by the following vote:
