Code of said County DO ORDAIN as .follows:
SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situated in
the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby
zoned as an "AR-A'IH-1" {Agricultural Residential-Mobile Home - 1 acre
parcels) District, and such area shall be subject to tl~.e restriction
and restricted uses and regulations hereinafter specified and
Drovided.
Said area so zoned being located in the unincorporated
area of Butte County, Gridley, more particularly described as
(allows:
Lot 15, 16, 17, 18 as shot~~n on that certain map
entitled "Map of Gridley Colony No. 2, Near
Gridley, Butte County CAL."t~~hich map was recorded
in the office of the Recorder of the County of
Butte, State of California, December 2b, 1905 in
Book 4 of ~~aps, at Page 4I.
Containing 35.68 acres, more ar less, Gridley.
SECTION 2. REGULATIONS FOR AN "AR-r~IH-1" DISTRICT
The follo~,ti*ang regulations shall apply in an 'TAR-I'4H-1„
District,
(A) USES PER~IITTED
I. One single-family dwelling per parcel.
2 , Mobile homes ~o house one family,, Z,~hen such mobile
home is the only housing facility located on the prem-
ises, provided the folloi~~ing conditions are conformed

a. The gross area of the mobile hams s.hail not be

4. Agricultural uses, except livestock, subject to re-
quirements as follows:
In addition to the minimum square footage required
to be devoted to residential use the following min
imam lot or parcel areas shall be required far each
animal raised or kept on the premises:
a. For each horse or head of cattle over (1} year
of age, eight thousand one hundred twenty-five
(8,125) square feet.
b. F'or each head of s~+rine over ten. (10) weeks of age,
eight thousand one hundred twenty-five (°,125)
square feet.
c. For each head of sheep or goats,-two thousand
(2,(100) square feet.

1, Golf courses, country clubs, if permitted, would
permit accessory uses such as driving range, pro shop,
cocktail bar, restaurant.
2. Public and quasi=public uses including churches, fire-
houses, IZaspitals; parl~s and playgrounds, schools and
public utility districts.

(C) SECTION Z~• -33 SHALL APPLY EXCEPTING LOT r{TI;~TH AND LOT
AREA:
1. The minimum lot area per dwelling unit s~:all not be

hundred thirty (130) feet, the provisions of Section

SECTION 3. A11 uses of land within the district not
specifically authorized and permitted are }arohi'oited.
SECTION 4. Tn compliance with the provisions of said
Butte County Code, Chapter Z4, the same is hereby amended by adding

17 SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the zoning
lg hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided in the
~9 Butte County Code, Chapter 24, this Ordinance shall from and aftex
20 its effective date become a supplement to and part of the Butte
2x County Code, Chapter 24.
22 ~ SECTION G, This Ordinance shaT1 be and it is hereby
23~declared to be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30)
24 days after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of
2g fifteen (15} days after its passage, this Ordinance shall be

upervisors voting for and against it in the Gridley .Herald a news-
aper published in the County of Butte, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
ounty of Butte, State of California, on the 23rd day of October
979, by the following vote:
