The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, ~iiid~r and pursl.iarit to .Chapter 24-30 of the Butte_Count ~~
Code, and declaring s.n emergency, I3O ORDAIN as :Eo3.1.oti~4=s:
SECTION 1, The hereinafter described area situated in
the County of Butte, State of California, shall 'oe and it is '_nereby
zoned as an "A-5" (Agricultural - 5 acre parcels) District for a
period of $ months, and such area sl~.all be subject to the restric-
tions and restricted uses and regulations hereinafter specified
and provided.
Said area so zoned beir_g located in Chico, mere parti-

A.. -i.TSES PERMITTED :. _ ......
1, One single-family dwelling per parcel.
2. General farming, horticulture, commercial livestocY,
poultry production, warehousing and storage.
3. Accessary buildings and uses pertinent to the per-
3nitted uses, including agricultural processing plants
4. Mousing .facilities (including mobile Domes) to accom-
modate only agricultural employees and their families
empolyed. by the owner or operator of the premises;
and provided further tI~.at such housing facility shall
be considered accessory to the main building and steal
conform to the provisions pertaining to required yard
and open space for dwellings.
5, ~~~obile homes to house one family when suc?z mobile
home is the only housing facility located on the
premises, provided the following conditions are
conformed to:
a. The floor axea within the mobile home shall not

The requirements of section 24-~3 of this Code not-
withstanding, the minimum lot area in ~.-5 zones shall not
be Less than .five (S) acres.
SECTION ~. All uses of land wit}iin the district not
specifically out}~orized and permitted are prohibited.
SECTION 4. In compliance i,=ith the pravisigns of said
Butte County Code, Chapter 24, the same is hereby amended by adding
It~iis Ordinance in full,
SECTION 5. The penalties for the vioiat'ian of the zoning
hereby imposed ivit}yin the district shall be as pxovided in the
Butte County Code, Chapter 24, this Ordinance s}gall Pram and after
its effective date become a supplement to and part of the Butte
County Cade, Chapter 24.
SECTION 5. This urgenc~T ordinance shall. take effect
immediately upon its passage, and before the expixation of fifteen
(l 5) days after its passage s}xall be published once ~~ith the names
Hof the members of the Boarci of Supervisors voting for and against..
the same in the Chico Enterprise Record, a newspaper in general
circulation in t}~e County of 3utte, State, of Califoxnia. The facts
constituting the uxgency an ~1T}rich this Ordinance is based are
