The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
C.al~.forni.a, .under and .pursuant to .Chapter. 24-29 of. the But.te... County
. .
Code of said County DO ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situated in
the County of Butte, State of California, sha11 be and it is hereby
zoned as an "A-10" (Agricultural - 10 acre parcels} District, and
such area shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted uses
and regulations hereinafter specified and provided.
Said area so zoned being located in the unincorporated
area of Butte County, Oroville, More particularly' described as
follows:
The N ~/~ of the NW ~~ of Section 20, T18N, RSE, P'IDB&M.
Containing 80 acres, more or less, southeast of Oroville.

SECTION 2. REGULATIONS FOR AN "A-10" DISTRICT.
The follawng• regulations shall apply in an T:l1--1017 _-.
Da.strict
(A) USES PERMITTED:
1. One single-family dwelling per parcel, including
mobile homes.
2. General agricultural farming, horticulture, commer-
cial livestock, poultry production, growing and
harvesting forestry products, warehousing and
storage.
3. Accessory buildings and uses pertinent to the per-
ma.tted uses, including agricultural processing plants.
4. Housing facilities (a.ncluding trailers) to accommo-
date only employees and their families employed by
the~.owner or operator of the premises; and provided
further that such housing facility shall be considerec

accessory to the main building and shall conform to
the..provisions pertaining ao required .yard,-ord.open. ..
space for dwellings.
5. `lining, quarrying, commercial excavation and wood
processing plants.
6. Hunting and fishing camps, including those which
acco~mnodate recreational vehicles and travel trailers,
providing that said recreational vehicles and travel
trailers shall not be used fox year-round occupancy.

Minimum front yard setback shall be fifty (50} feet

Road, the minimum building setback requirements shall be
fifty-five (55) .feet from the centerline of the road.
(D) SIDE AND REAR YARD REQUIRED:
Minimum side and rear yard. shall not be less than ter_
(10} feet.
SECTION 3. All uses of land within the district not
specifically.ai~tharized and permitted are prohibited.
SECTION 4-. In compliance with the provisions of said
Butte County Code, Chapter 24, the same is hereby amended by adding
this Ordinance in full.

SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the zoning
hereby.. imposed t,=~:t-h in the distxict shall be as provided ia~. the .. .

Butte County Code, Chapter 24, this Ordinance shall fxom and after
its effective date become a supplement to and part of the Butte.
County Code, Chapter 24.
SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby
declared to be in full force and effect from and after thirty {30)
days after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of
fifteen {l5) days after its passage, this Ordinance shall be
published once ~~ith the names of the members of the Board of
Supervisors voting for and against it in the Oroville mercury, a
ne~5~spaper pub~.ished in the County of Butte, State of Californs.a..
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Sutte, State of California, o~. the 6th day of November
1979, by the followa~ng vote:
