THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE
OF CALIFORNIA, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION N0. 1
SUBJECT AND SHORT TITLE; The salaries and number of
positions of the officers and employees, of the County of Butte,
are fixed and determined as hereinafter set forth; and the
ordinance shall be known as the "Salary Ordinance"

Court Judge other than a judge whose salary is controlled pursuant
to Government Cade Section 74102, is sitting temporarily on assign-
ment by the Judicial Council in another Justice Court within this
county, said Justice Court Judge shall receive the regular salary
and the additional amount of $42.67, provided if the assigned
judge's home court is f~.lled by assignment then in that event payment
shall be made pursuant to Government Code Section 68540.7.

All other ordinances inconsistent with the provisions
of this ordinance are hereby repealed as of the effective date
hereof.
This ordinance shall take effect on January 5, 1980,
which is beyond 30 days after the date of its adoption,
and before the expiration of fifteen {15) days after its
passage, it shall be published in the County of Butte, State
of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, this 13th day of November 1979

PAYMENT OF SALARIES AND WAGES: Salaries and wages shall
be in accordance with the provisions of the Merit System
Ordinance and Resolution.
SECTION N0. 75
All other ordinances inconsistent with the provisions
of this ordinance are hereby repealed as of the effective date
hereof.
This ordinance sha11 take effect on January 5, 19$4,
which is beyond 30 days after the date of its adoption,
and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its
passage, it shall be published in the County of Butte., State
of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, this 13th day of November , 1979
