AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2-1 OF
CHAPTER 2 OF THE BUTTE COUNTY CODE
RELATIVE TO OFFICE HOURS
1 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
2_ California,...DO.ORDAIN., as follows:..-
3 Section 1. That §2-1 of Chapter 2 of the Butte County
4 Code be amended to read as folloras:
5 §2-l. Office hours.
6 Generally. County offices shall be open for the
7 transaction of business from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every day
8 except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, and such offices shall be
9 open continuously during such hours unless staffing will not
10 permit.
xl Section 2.. This ordinance shall take effect on January 5,
12 1980, which is beyond thirty (30) days after the date of its
3.3 adoption, and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its
14 passage, this ordinance shall be published once with the names of
15 the members of the Board of Supervisors voting for and against it
16 in the Chica Enterprise Record a newspaper published
17 in the County of Butte, State of California.
