AN INTERIM ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY
OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AN "R-T." (SINGLE-FAA4ILY
RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
. 2 alifarnia, under and puxsuant to Chapter 24--30 of the-Butte County
S ode, and declaring an emergency, DO ORDAIN as follows:
4 SECTION I. The hereinafter described area situated in
5 ~~he County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby
B ~~zaned as an "R-1" (Single-Family Residential) District for a period
7 f one hundxed twenty (120) days, and such area shall be subject to
8 he restrictions and, restricted uses and regulations hereinafter
9 ~~Specified and provided.
10 ~~ Said area so zoned being North Chico, more particularly
11 I~.escribed as follows:

Unit 1 of the Lindo Aianar Subdivision, as recorded
in Book 17 Map of Record on Page 2I.
Unit 2 of the Linda Manor Subdivision, as recarded
in Book 19 Map of Record on Page 5.
Unit 3 of the Lindo Manor Subdivision, as recorded
in Book 2Z A4ap of Record on Pages 27, ~ 28; excepting
therefrom lots 103 through 114.
Containing 3S acres, more or Less, Chico.
SECTION 2. REGULATIONS FOR AN "R-1" DISTRICT:
The following regulations shall apply in an "R-1" District
[A) USES PERi~'iITTED
1. One single-family dwelling per parcel, not including
tents, trailers or mobile homes.
2. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted uses.
3. Household pets (but not including livestock, poultry
or poisonous reptiles).
(B) THE FOLLO~dING USES ARE PERMITTED SUBJECT TO SECURING

A USE PERMIT IN EACH CASE:

- 1; Golf-courses and countr clubs.
2. Public and quasi-public uses including churches, fire-
houses, hospitals, paxlcs, playgrounds, schools and
public utility buildings,
3. Sales tract office,
{C) THE PROVTSIONS OF SECTION 24-33 SHALL APPLY.
SECTION 3. All uses of Land within the district not ~~
pecifically authorized and permitted are prohibited,
SECTION 4, In compliance with the provisions of said
utte County Code, Chapter 24, t~~.e same is hereby amended by adding

13 SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the zoning
I4 ereby imposed within the district shall be as provided in the
35 utte County Cade, Chapter 24, this Ordinance shall from and aftex
18 its effective date become a supplement to and part of the Butte
17 ounty Code, Chapter 24.
l8 SECTION 6. This urgency ordinance shall take effect
19 immediately upon its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen
20 (15) days after its passage shall be published once with the names
2I f the members of the Board of Supervisors voting far and against
22 the same in the Chico Enterprise Record, a newspaper in the general
23 irculatian in, the County of Butte State of California. The facts
24 instituting the urgency on which this Ordinance is based are:
