AN INTERIM ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTIO?~T OF
THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF C~~TFORNIA,
AN "I~'1-1" {LIGHT INI>USTRTAL) DISTRICT.
1 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
2 California, under and pursuant to Chapter 24-30 of the Butte County.
g Code, and declaring an emergency, DO ORDAIN as falloi,~s:
4 SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situated in
5 the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby
6 zoned as an "M-1" (Light Industrial) District for a period of eight
7 months, and such area shall be subject to the restrictions and
S restricted uses and regulations pursuant to Butte County Code Sec.
9 2A~-114.
10 Said area so zoned. being located in the unincorporated
11 area of Butte County, Biggs, more particularly described as follows
12 Lats 49, 50 and "N" of "Ditzler Tract #2" per
map of record in h-iap Book 7 an Page SO on file
13 in the office of the Butte County Recorder,
excepting therefrom the southerly 230.39 ft.,
14 measured parallel with the east right-of-Z,Fay
line of the Southern Pacific Railroad, of tl~.e
15 westerly 365.93 ft., measured parallel i4Fith the
south line of said Lat N, !,

17 SECTTON 2. This urgency ordinance shall take effect
18 immediately upon its passage, anct before the expirata.on of fifteen
i9 (15) days after its passage shall be published once with the names
20 of the members of the Board of Supervisors voting for and against
2I the same in the Biggs News, a newspaper in general circulation in
22 the County of Butte, State of California. The facts can~stitu~~:ng
23 the urgency on which this Ordinance is based are:
24 1. To protect the health, welfare and safety of the
~ public.
