SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situated in
he County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby
oned as an "FR-5" (Foothill Recreational - 5 acre parcels) District
nd such area shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted
ses and regulations pursuant to Butte County Cade Sec. 24-112(a).
Said area sa zoned being located in the unincorporated
rea of Butte County, north of Oroville, more particularly describes
s follows:
A11 that certain real. property situate in the
County of Butte, State of California, described

Parcel 1: Lots S, 6 and 7 of the SE 1/4 and the
E l/2 of the SE 1/4 of Sec. 9, T20N, R4E, MDBFM.
Parcel 2: A11 that portion of Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4
of the NE 1/4 of Sec.~9, T20N, R4E, MDB~M, not
included within the exterior lines of those mining
claims knai,m at the Rock River Quartz Claim, Homestake
Quartz Location, Monto Christo Quartz Claim, Barton
Quartz Claim, Norton Quartz Claim, Oroville Quartz
Mining Location, Avondale Quartz Mining Location,
j'Vaukesha Quartz Mining Location, Ida Be11e Quartz
Mining Location, but including the surface rights
on the Ida Be11e Location as not necessary far quartz
mining purposes, and 5 acres in the S1~ corner of said
1/4 section deeded to~Gearge Fuqua. .
Excepting all the land W of Cherokee Road.
Also excepting therefrom the following described
parcel of land:
Commencing at the E 1/4 corner of said Sec. 9, thence
along the S line of the NE 1/4 of said Sec., S 89°
50" 56" W, 679.10 ft. to the true point of beginning

30" W, 51.74 ft. from the 1/4 cornex comman to said
Sections 9 ~ 10; thence N D° O1' 30" W, along the
Section line common to said Sections 9 ~ 10, 1655.10 ft.
to the point of beginning,
Containing 166 acres, more or less, north of Oroville.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby
declared to be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30)
days after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of
fifteen (15) days after its passage, this Ordinance shall be
published once with the names of the members of the Board of
Supervisors voting for and against it in the Oraville A~ercury, a
newspaper published in the County of Butte, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, an the 2~3rd_;° day of Septemb
1980, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Wheeler, Moseley, Winston, and Chairman
