That an amendment to the contract betaJeen The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte and the Board of Administration, California Public Employees' Retirement System is hereby authorized, a copy of said amendment being attached hereto, marked "Exhibit A", and by such reference made a part hereof as though herein set out in full. Section 2. 71~e Chairman of the Board of Supervisors is hereby authorized, empowered, and directed to execute said amendment for and on behalf of said Agency. Section 3. Public Agency shall contribute to saki Ret~.remerat System as follo~rs: a,. Stith respect to miscell,aneaus members, the agency $ha11 con- tribute the follo~ring percentages of monthly salaries earned as miscel~.aneaua utembera of said Retirement System: {1) G.035 percent until June 30, 2000 on account of the liability far prior service benefits. Y~'th, respect to local safety members, the agency shall contribute the following percentages of monthly salaries earned as local saafety members of said Ret~.rement System: (1) 0.194 percent until June 30, 2000 on account of the l~.abzlity for prior serva.ce benefits.
