The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of

SECTION 1. Section 24-164 of the Butte County Cade is
hereby amended to read as follows:
~Z4-164. SR-5 (Suburban Residential} Zone.
(A} USES PERMITTED:
1. One Single-family dwelling per parcel, not including
tents, trailers ar mobile homes. ~!,
2. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted uses. ~'
3. Agricultural uses excepting a minimum lot area of I!
five (5} acres to be devoted to residential use and ~I,
the fallowing additional requirements for each animal',
kept on the premises.
a. For each horse ar head of cattle or swine over
one year of age - eight thousand one hundred
twenty-five [8,125} sa~uare feet.
b. For each sheep ar goat -two thousand. (2,000)
square feet.
{B) USES REQUIRING~USE PERMITS:
The following uses axe permitted subject to securing
a use permit in each case:
1. Golf courses and country clubs.
2. Public and quasi-public uses incl~idin.g churches,
firehouses, hospitals,parks and playgrounds, schools,
and public utility buildings.
3. Sales tract office.

lp SECTION Z. The hereinafter described area situated in ~
11 the County of Butte, State of California, shall. be and it is hereby
12 zoned as an "SR-5" (Suburban Residential 5 acre parcels} District,
13 and such area sha11 be sub3ect to the restrictions and restricted
14 uses and regulations pursuant to Butte County Code Section 24-1G4, I
15 Said area so zoned being located in the unincorporated
16 area of Butte County, Oroville, more particularly described as
17 follo~rs:
lg Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4 of the Map of Recoxd in the
Office of the Butte County Recorder in Boo~C 37
19 on Page 70.
20 Containing 280 acres, more or less, north of Oraville.
21. SECTION 3. This Ordinance Shall be and it.is hereby
22 declared to be in fu11 force and effect from and after thirty (30)
23 days after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of .
24 fifteen {15) days after its passage, this Ordinance shall be
