Chapter y y 4 amended by adding Section 24-113.5 as follows: g X24-113.5 L-T (Limited Industrial) Zane. g (A) USES PERMITTED: ~ 1. Storage and distribution of goods and materials, in- g ~ eluding wholesaling, warehouses, moving services, g vehicle storage, mini-storage, delivery services and lp similar uses, but not including storage of inflamrn- 11 abler, explosives or materials which create dust, 12 odors or fumes. Off-site construction and maintenance services, in- l4 eluding building, electrical, plumbing, heating, xoof- ~,~ ing, painting, landscaping, excavation and similar 16 contractors and janitorial, fumigating, septic tank 17 pumping, and similar services. . lg 3. Assembly and light manufacturing uses which are not I,g objectionable, obnoxious or offensive by reason of 20 emission of noise, smoke, dust, odors, fumes, cindexs, 2l heat, bright lights, vibration, radiation, refuse 22 matter or water-carried waste and which do no-t involve 23 the handling of inflammable, explosive or dangerous 24 materials. Public uses and utilities, not including recreation facilities, disposal sites, sewage treatment, and power plants. 5. Residence of caretaker or proprietor. 6. Advertising signs. (E) SITE REQUIREMENTS: The requirements of Section 24=3~ of~this Code are modifie ,for all building sites in "L-I"•zones in the following particulars: 1. Lot area and width: There is no lot area minimum nor lot width minimum except as may be required for the building and far off-street loading area and parking. 2. Side yard: None; except where the side of a lot abuts " a Residential zone, in which case the side yard shall be not less than five (5} feet. 3. Rear yard: None, except where the rear yard abuts a Residential zone, in which case the rear yard shall be not less than five (5) feet. 4. Truck loading and Unloading space: "Private off-street 3oading space for the handling of all goods, materials and equipment shall be provided. S. Off-street parking space: The provisions of Section 24-35 sha11 apply. 6. Enclosure: All uses must be conducted entirely within an enclosed building or structure or within an area enclosed on ail sides by a solid wall or fence at I~ least six feet in height or by a chain link fence at least six feet in height with a six foot planting buffer maintained in healthy condition, except that the pxavisions of Section 1~-9 shall apply to fences and walls within the required front yard and street set- back area. SECTION 2. Chapter 24 of the Butte County Code is hereby amended by adding Section 24-163 as follows [existing uncodified ~~zone) X524-163 SR-3 ,(Suburban Residential) zone. (A) USES PERMITTED: 1. one single-family dwelling per parcel, not including , tents, trailers or mobile homes. 2. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted uses. 3. Agricultural uses excepting a minimum lot area of three [3) acres to be .devoted to xe~idential use and the following additional requirements far each animal kept on the premises. a. For each horse or head of cattle or swingy over -3- 1 2 3 5 6: one year of age, eight thousand one hundred twenty five (8,125) square feet. b. For each sheep or goat, two thousand (2,000) square feet. . 4. The minimum lot area per dwelling unit shall not be Tess than 3 acres, the provisions of Sectian 24-33 7 notwithstanding. g 5. The minimum Iot width shall not be less than nne hund- g red thirty (130) feet, the provisions of Section 24-33. lq notwithstanding. 11 (B) USES REQUTRTNG A USE PERi~3TT: The fallowing uses sub~~ 12 jest to securing a use permit in each case: I.
