The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, does
ordain as follows:
Section l: Said Board finds and determines that upon the basis of azz
engineering and traffic survey, the Butte County highway hereinafter described
comes within the provisions of Section 22358 of the Vehicle Code of the State
of California, in that a speed limit of fifty-five (55) miles per hour is more
than is reasonable and safe on said highway and determines and declares a
prima facie speed Limit on such Butte County highway as follows:
That a prima facie speed limit of thirty-five (35) miles per hour is',he
determined, declared and established and that SPEED LTMTT 35 MILES signs be
placed at appropriate locations on the hereinafter-described County highway
to wit:
SKYWAY from 700 feet south of South Park Drive to 1000 feet north
of Ponderosa Way
Section 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed,
Section 3: The several features, parts, provisions, sections and terFns
of this ordinance are hereby declared independent and severable and the
invalidity, if any, of any feature, part, provision, section or term thereof,
shall not affect the remainder of this ordinance, nor render the same inapera-

Section 4: The Department of Public Works of the County of Butte is
hereby directed to erect appropriate signs giving; notice of the prima facie
speed limits established herein within thirty (30} days of the adoption hereofo

9 NOES: None
10 ABSENT: None
