AN TNTERTM ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE,
STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AN "AR-MH-S" (AGRICULTURAL RESIDENTIAL
MOBILE HOME) DISTRICT
Z ~ The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
2 Cal ifvrnia, undex and pursuant to Chapter 24-30 of the Butte County
3 Code, and declaring an emergency, DO ORDAIN as follows:
4 SECTTON 1. The hereinafter described area situated in
5 the County of Butte, State of California, sha11 be and it is hereby
g zoned as a "AR-MH"5" (Agricultural Residential - Mobile Home _ 5 acr
7 arcels} District far a period of eight {8} months, and such area
g sha11 be subject to the restrictions and restricted uses and re-
g guiations hereinafter specified and provided.
10 Said area so zoned being located in the unincorporated
11 xea of Butte County, southeast of Oroville, more particularly

SECTION 2. REGULATIONS FOR AN "AR-MH-S" DISTRICT.
The following regulations shall. apply in an "AR-MH-S"
7is tr ict
(A) USES PERMITTED:
1. One single-family dwelling per parcel.
2, Mobile homes to house one family, when such mobile
home is the only housing facility located on the pre-
mises, provided the following condition:=is conformed
to:
a. The gross area of the mobile home shall not be
Less than five hundred (500) square feet.
3. Accessory buildings pertinent to~ the permitted uses.
4. Livestock, subject to requirements as follows:
a. Minimum lot area to be devoted to residential use
shall not be less than five (5) acres.
b. Exclusive of the area devoted to the residential
use, the following lot or parcel areas sha11 be
required for each animal raised or kept on the
premises:

(S) USES REQUIRING USE PERMITS: The following uses are
permitted subject to securing a use permit in each case:
1. Duplex dwellings and multiple-family dwellings.
2, Golf courses, country clubs, if permitted, would per-
mit accessory uses such as driving range, pro shop,
cocktail bar, restaurant.
3, Public and quasi-public uses including churches, fire-~
houses, hospitals, parks and .playgrounds, schools and
public utility buildings.
4, Commercial poultry farming and livestock farming.
5. Veterinary clinics, outpatient.
6. Nurseries and plant gardens.
(C} ~.UT AREA REQUIRED: Minimum lot area of a lot per
dwelling unit sha11 be not less than five (5} acres.
(D) LET WIDTH REQUIRED: Minimum tat width shall nat be
less than one hundred thirty (l30} feet.
(E) FRONT YARD REQUIRED: Minimum front yard shall be
fifty (50} feet from the centerline of the road, except
.where the road zs :classified by..the.County as a.F,ederal
Aid Secondary Road, the minimum building setbaclcArequ:ire=
ment shall be fifty-five (55) feet from the centerline of
the road.
(F) SIDE AND REAR YARD REQUIRED: Minimum side or rear
yard shall not be less than ten (10} feet.

~. SECTION 3. All uses of land within the district not
2 specifically authorized and permitted are prohibited.
3 SECTION 4. This urgency Ordinance shall take effect
4 immediately upon its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen
5 (1S} days after its passage shall be published once with the names
