~~ AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24 OF THE BUTTE
COUNTY CODE, "R-N" (RESIDENTIAL-NONCONFORMING}

2 (California, DO ORDAIN., as follows:
3 SECTION i. Section 24-149.1 of the Butte County Code is
4 hereby added to read as follows:
~ X24-14.9.1. R-N (Residential-Nonconforming). Zone..
g (A) USES PERMITTED:
q 1 . One single-fami ly dwel 1 i ng per parcel including. trail
g ers o.r mobile homes.
g 2. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted--uses,
~p 3. Household pets (but not including livestock, .poultry,
I1 or poisonous reptiles).
12 (B} USES REQUIRING USE PERMITS: The following uses .are
~3 permitted subject to securing a use permit in each case:
14 1. Duplex dwellings and multiple family dwellings.
is 2. Public and quasi-public uses including churches, fire
~g houses, hospitals, parks and., playgrounds, schools,
17 and-public utility buildings,
lg (C) LOT AREA AND WIDTH: The standard provision of Sectio
lg 24-33 shall apply.
20 (D) FRONT YARD REQUIREMENTS: The standard provision of
23 Section 24-33 -shall apply, except when the setback of
22 nonconforming existing structures are being re-
23 habilitated or expanded.
24 (E) SIDE YARD REQUIREMENTS: The minimum side yard re-
25 quired is three (3) feet, provided the sum of both
26 side yards shall be equal to or greater than ten (10}
