The Berard of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State
of California, DO ORDATN as follows:
Section 1. That Section 2-1 of the Butte County Code
j is hereby amended to read as follows:
§2-l. Office hours generally. County offices shall
be open far the transaction of business every day except Saturdays,
Sundays and holidays. Upon consideration of the public need,
budgetary limitations, staffing levels and the desirability of
coordinating the times during which various departments are
available to the public, the board of supervisors may, by
:resolution, specify those hours during which individual departments
swill be open to the public. Absent such a specification, all
county offices shall be open for the transaction of business from
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m, on the days previously specified herein.
Section 2. This ordinance shah. be and it is hereby
declared to be in full force and effect from and after thirty {30)
days after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of
fifteen (15) days after its passage, this ordinance shall be
published ance with the names of the members of the board of
;supervisors voting far and against it in the Gridley Herald, a
