2 COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF_CALIFORNIA
3 RESOLUTION TERMINATING MONTH-
TO-IN,ONTH TENANCY OF SHELL OIL COMPANY

WHEREAS, the County of Butte did, on the 4th day of
5
November, 1957, enter into a written agreement with ;hell Oil
6
Company, whereby said County leased unto Shell-Oil Company,on a
7
month-to-month basis, beginning on the 10th day of November,
8
1957, the real property described in said agreement; and
9
WHEREAS, it is now the desire of County of Butte to give

thirty days written notice terminating said month-to-month

tenancy;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT 3.tESOLVED by the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

of the COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, as follows:

1. `hat the month-to-month tenancy, beginning on the 10th
15
day of each month and ending on the 9th day of the succeeding
16
month, of Shell Oil Company in and to the real property descrila~d
17
in that certain agreement between County of Butte and Shell Oil
18
Company dated the 4th day of November, 1957, be terminated, and
19
that the Chairman of this Board be authorized on behalf of
20
County to execute and cause to be served a written, thirty day
21
notice terminating said tenancy.

2. That the County Counsel of the County of Butte is
23
hereby authorized to cause said thirty day written notice
24
terminating tenancy to be served as required by law, and upon
25
the failure of Shell oil Company to comply with said notice,
26
to bring any and all necessary legal action required to terminate
27
said tenancy. '

The foregoing Resolution was introduced by Supervisor
29
Pr de who moved its adoption, seconded by
30
Supervisor Pittman and said Resolution
31
was passed this 27th. day of February, 1961, on roll call by
