{Vehicle Code Sectian 22358)
The Board of Svgervisors of the County o~' Butte, State of Ca~.i~orn~a,
does o~dain as ~ollows:
Section l: 5aid Board ~~.n~s and determines tha~ upon the basis o~' an
engineering and traffic survey, the Bu~te County hi.ghway herexnafter described
cames within the provisions of Section 22358 of the Veh~.cle Code of the S~ate
of California, in ~hat a speed limit of fi£ty-five {55} miles per k~aur is more
~han ~.s reasonable and sa£e on said highway and determines and declares a prima
facie speed ~.imit on such Butte County highway as ~ollotas:
'~hat a prima facie speed ~.imit of Thirty-five (35) miles pex haur is
hereby determined, declared and establish~d and tha~ SPEED LIMTT 35 ~III~ES signs
be placed at appropriate locatiorvs on ~he hereinafter-~described Coc~nty h~.ghwaq
to wit: '
HENSHALd AVENUE FROM ESPLANAD~ TQ NORD AVENUE
Sectzon 2: All ordinances or parts of ordznances in canflict f~erewith
~ are hereby repealed.
Section 3: The se~ez'al features, parts, proviszons, sections and terms ~
of this ordinance are hereby declared a.ndependent and severab~.e and the invali- I
di~y, if any, of any fea~ure, part, provision, sect~.an ar term thereo£, shall
not affect the remai.nder o~ ~hzs ordinance, nor z'ender the same inope~'ative or
invalid.
