AN ORDINANCE ZON~NG A PORTION OF THS COIINTY OF BUTTE,
STATE OF CA~~PORNIA, TO AN A-40 {AGRICIILTIIRA~} DISTRICT,
PIIRSIIANT TO GHAPT~R 24-29.
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Bu~te, State of
Cali~ornia, under and pursuanC to Chapte~ 24-29 of the But~e Co~nty~

Code of said Countp DO ORAAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situate in the
County o~ Butte, State o~ California, shall be and it ~s hereby
zoned as an A-40 (Agricultura~) District, and such area sha~~ be
sub~ect to the restrictions and xestricted uses and regu~at~ons
pursuant ro Butte Coun~y Code Secrion 24-81.
Said area so zoned being located in ~he unincorporated
area o~ Butte County, Chico, more part~cular~y described as
follows:
All that portion of "Chico Prune Orchard" per map of
recard in Map Boak 7 an Page 27 an f~1e in rne Office of
the Butte Gounty Recorder lacated south and 2ast of Mud
Creek, and a11 of Lo~ 6 of "Brooke Estate" per that map
of record ~n Map Boak 9 on Page 37 on file in the of~ice
of the Butte County Recorder.
Containing 110 acres, more or less, Chico area.
SECT~ON 2. This Ordinance sha21 6e and it is hererby
declared to be in fu~l force and effect from and after thirty (30)
days after the date o~ its passage, and before the exp~ration o~

fifteen {15) days af~er its passage, this Qrdinance shail be
published once w~th ~he names of the membe~s of tne Board of
Supervisors vating for and aga~nst it in the C~i~a Enterprise
Record, a newspaper published in the Count~ of Butte, State of
Cal~~ornia.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of ButCe, State of Caiifornia, on the 2~St day of Mdy ,
1955, by the following vote:
