AN ORDINANCE REGI~LATI~VG OF"FSTR£ET PARiCING
QN COUNTY OWNE~ OR COUN7Y OP~RATED PROPERTY
PEIRSUANT TO CALIFORNIA VEHICLE C~DE SECTI~N
22519 (Statutes 1959, Chapter 1~86) _
The Board of Supervisars of the Cour~ty of Butte, State of
California, DO ORDAIN, as fallaws:
5ec~ion 1. The Code of Butte County, California, Chapter
14, is hereby amended to add the ~'ollowing:
ARTICLE XV
OFFSTREET PARKING ON COLJNTY OWNE~ OR CDUNTY OPERATED PROPERTY
Sec. 'i4-100. ImP~emen~a~aon i~y Resolution.
The Baard of Super~isors of the County of
Butte uy resa~ution may by reference ~a maps, diagrams or ather
specificatians, identify ofFstreEt parking spaces on County ow~ed
or County operatEd property, and may pravi.de for time limitatians
and othez~ restrictions applica6le to those spaces. 5uch limita-
tions ar~d restrictions may rela~e to reservation Qf spaces for
handicapped persons, limits on the duration oF parking, Iimitations
and restrictions regarding day of week and hou~ of day, and any
other iimitations and.restrictaons apprapriate to the efficient
conduct of County business anc! the conveni.er~ce of the publi.c it
serves.
Sec .'! 4-1 Cl1 . 5ign Posti~.
Any sucF~ implementing resolutinn sha11
specify, and be ~ffective oniy upon, the placement of•appropriat~
s.~gns positioned and otherwise designed so as to affard natice of
~he restrictions and limitations to tha ttsers of ~he parking area.
5uch signs shall mee~ ~he specifications oF ~he California Vehicle
Cacie, and in the case af a resolutior~ providing for the.removal of

8 provided in California Vehi.cle Code sections 42001 and 420Q1.5(b),
~ or any successor provision thereaf ap~licak~le to the ~a.a.~ation.
