SECTION 1. Section 24-37.C5 of the Butte County Code is hereby added
to read as foll.ows:
§24-37'.65 Restora-tion o~ Nonconforming Buildings or 5tructur~s.
A nonconfo~ming building ar structure which doas n,ot conform to the ;
requi~eci side yard, rear yard or s~r~et setback areas, wnich is
demolishad, damaged or d~stroyed totally or in part, may be ~
restor~d to a ta~a1. floor area or to the same extent as the
original only upon securing a Use Permit purs~ant to 5ection
24-43.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance sha11 be and it is hereby declared to be ~

in ful~l force and effec~ from and after thirty {30) days after the date of its
~
passage, and befare the expa.ration of fifteen (15} days aft~~ a.~.s passage, this
Ozdi.nan~e shal~. be.published once with the names of the members of the Board of
Sugervisors voting ~o~ and agazns~ it in the ChiCO Enterprise Record , a
newspape~ pub~.ished in the Co~.nty of $utte, State of California.
