The Board of Supervisors of the County of $utte, State o~ California,
DO ORDAIN, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 24-66 of tne Butte Co~nty Code is hereby deleted
in its entirety.
SEC~'ZQN 2. Sec~ion 24-].95 nf the ~utte County Code is hereby added
to read as follows:
§24-195 ii (UncJ.assified) Zone
(A) Purpose and Intant
A~.1 the unincorpora~ed area a~ tlxe County of Butte not otherwise zoned
by ordinance by the Board of Supervisors is heraby zoned as a U(Uncl.assa.fa.edl
district, as such dis~xict is defined and su~ject ta the regulations contained
in Section 24-33 0~ this Chapter.
(B) Permitted Uses
The ~ollowing are the Qrincipai germitted uses in the U Zone:
(a) Single-fami~.y dwe].~ing per parc~l, and accessory huildings.
{bJ Agricultura7. ~ses and buildings.
(C) Cond~tiona~ Uses
T~~ ~ollowing_ a~e condi~iona]. uses. in _a U Zone:
(a) Multiple-family dwellings, including duplexes, subject to the
density specified by the General Plan; second dw~lling unit allowed wi,th no size
restriction.
(b) Conunercial uses of ~and or bui~dings.
{c) ~ecxeational vehic~e parks.
(d) Campsites.
(e) Publzc or quasi-public uses i~cluding schools, churches, publi.c
buildings and public utila.ty ~~ildings.

~1 (a) Off-street parking and loading shall be provided in canformity witn
l~ the p~'ovisions o~ Section. 24-35.
~~ (b) Lir~ited con~rox on Iand divisions: Any land divisa.on shall be
~4 1imi.ted to f~ve (5) acres minimum pa~Cels unless rezoned to a zane complying
~r~ with the General Plan designation.
~6 SEC'~ION 3. This Ordinance sha11 be and it i.s hareby declared to be in
~~ full force and effact from and after th.ix~ty (3Q) days after the da~.e ofr its
l~ passage, and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage, this
1~ Ordinance shall be publi.shed once with the names a~ the members of the Board of
20 Supervisors voting for and against it in the Enterprise Record , a newspager
~Z publi.shed in the County of Butt~, State o~ California.
