7he Board of Superviso~s of the Coun~.y of Butte, 5~ate of
California, DO ~RDAIN, as follaws:
5ectivn 1. That Sectiar~ 19--5 of the Bu~te County Cade a~s
hereby amended ~o r~ad as Fo~laws:
§19-5. Permits--RE ucLired.
(a) No person s1~a1.J. begin or caus~ to have
~egun canstruction n~' any bui].ding or any sewage disposa~. system
.
wi~hou~ first submitting plans of ~.he ~neans of sewage dis~osal to
the health officer and nbtaining a permit therefor frnm the heal~.h
aFficer.
(b) No person shall cons~.ruct an auxiliary
sewage disposa~ syste~n for a building presently served by a sewage
dispasal system without first submi~ting ~lans of the praposed
means of sewage disposal to the health aff~.cer and obtaining a
permit therefor fror~ the heal~h officer.
(c) No person 5~ai1 extensi~ely alter, repair,
relocate, add to or replace any existing sewage disposal syst~m
watE~out firs~ seeuring a permit therefar from ~he hea3.tf~ officer.
(d) ~ermits issued pursuant to this ordi~ance
sha11 bc valid for ane year and sE~ali automatically become void one
year f'rnm ~he date of issuance, uniESS renewed prior to ~he exp~r-
a~ion date. Only ane year renewal shall be perma.ttecl. Permits for
repair, alteration, replacement or enlargemer~t shaJ.l be valid for
one year from the date of issuance and are not ren~wabie.

Section 2. This ordinance is hereby and it ~s declare~ to
be in full foree and effect from and after thirty (30) days after
th~ date of its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen (1~)
days after its passage, this ardinance shall be pub~ished once
with the names of the members of the Board of Supervisors voting
far and against it in ~he Chico Enterpr~se Record , a
newspaper pula~.ished in the County of Butte, S~ate o.f California.

County of Butte, State of Cal.ifornia, on ~.he lst day of
October , 1985, by the following vote:
