Section l: Said Baa~'d fznds and determines that upon the basis o~ a~
engineera~ng and traffic survey, the Butte County highway hereinafter described
comes within th~ provzsxans of Section 22357 of the Veha.cle Code of the State
o~ Cal~.fornia, in that the existing speed limit of twenty-five (25) mil.es per
' hour is less than ~.s mos~ appropriate to i~:a:cil`itate the orderly movement of
I~traffic on said highway and de~errr3~.nes and declares a prima faca.e speed limi~t on
~Isuch Bu~~e County highway as follows:
That a prima faca.e speed limit of forty-five (~+S) m~.1es per hour is
hez'eby determined, declared a~d establ~.shed and that SPEED LIMI~ ~+5 MZLES s~.gns
be placed at appropz'iate iocations on the ~ereina~'tez-deser~.bed Caunty highway

Ord~'Ferry Road from 2200 feet west of Perk~.ns Road to 700 feet west
of Perkins Road.
Ord Ferry Road fram 1900 feet west of Dayton Road to Dayton Road.

hexeby~determined, declared and estab~.ished and that SPEED LrMIT 35 MILES signs
be placed at appropr~a~e locatians on the hereinafter--descr5.bed County highway
~o wit:
Ord Ferry Road from 700 feet west of Perkins Road to 1900 feet west
of Dayton Road.. ~
Section 2: All ordinances or parts o~ ox'dinances in conflict herewith
are k~e~eby repeaZed.
Section 3: The severa~ £eatures, parts, pravisions, sections and terms

~0 lzshed with the names oft the members voting for and aga~.nst the same, once in a
~-~ ~oca1 newspaper published in the County o~ Butte, State.of Ca7.i£ornia.
