The Board of Supervisors of the Coun~y of Butte, 5tate of Ca~a.ftornia,
does ardain as ~ollows:
Secrion I.: Said Board ~inds and detaxmines that upon the basis o~ an
engineering and traffic s~~vey, the Su~re County highway hereinafter descra.bed
comes within the pxovisions of Sectioa 22357 0~ the Vehicle Code af the State
of Cali~ornia, in ~hat the existz.ng speed limi~ af twenry-five (25).m~les per
hour is less ~han ~s mos~ appropriare to faci~itate the orderly mavement of
traffic on said highway and detexmines and declares a prima facie speed Ii,mi~ oe
such Butre Coun.ty highway as follows:
'Fhat a prima ~ac~e spead l.imit af thxrty-f~.ve (35) maies per hour is
]nereby determined, declared and estiablishe~. and th.at SPEED LINR T 35 MILES signs
be placed at appropr~,.ate locations on the hereinafter-described County h.ighway
ta wit:
Lower Wyandotte Road fram 200 feet north of 'V-6 Road to
5Q0 feet narth of Las ~'lumas Avenue.
Secrion 2: A11 ordinances or parts o~ ordinances in con~J.icr herewith
are hereby repealed.
Secrion 3: ~e several feakures, parts, provasions, secti.ons and terms
of this azdinance are hereby d.eclar~d a.ridependent and severabie and the ~nvalid~
ity, if any, af any faature, part, provisa.o.n, secta.on or ~erm thereof, shall
I not af~ec~ the rema~nder of Chis ord~nance, aor render the same inaperati.ve or
~nvalid.
5ection 4: The Depar~ment of Publi.c Works o~ ~he Caun~.y of Butte is
hereby directed to erect appropr3ate signs givxng notice o~ the prima facie
speed limi~s established hexein within thirty (30) days of the adoption hereof.

This ordinance sha~I take effect th~rty (34} days aftex its passage, and
be~ore the expiration of ~ifteen {15} days af~er its passage, it sha11 be pub-
lished w~th the names o~ the ~embers voting for and aga~nst the same, once in a
loca~ newspaper published in the Coun~y of Butte, State o~ Cali~o~nia.
