dF TflE BUTTE CQUNTY CODE
RELATIVE TO AN~MAL ~~OLATIONS
The Baard of Supervisors o~ the Coun~y of B~.~te, State of
Cali~oxni.a, DO ORDAIN, as ~ollows:
Secta.on 1. That 5ection 4-1,4 0~ ~he Butte Countp Code is
hereby amended to read as ~ol~.ows:
§4-1.4. Penal~y for vio].a~i.an a~ sections 4-1, 4-1.,1.,
4-1.2, ~-1.3, and 4-1.5
Any person violating ~he provisions o~ Sect~ons
4-1, 4-1.2{e} or 4-1.2{f} shall be gui].ty o~ an i.n~ract~.on,
punishab~e by ~a.ne or ~ines o~ not less than $25.04 far the first
o~~ense occurring during any ].icense year; a~ na-t ~.ess than
$75.Q0 for a s~cond offense occurxing during any i~cense year;
and o~ no~ iess than $I50.00 ~or a third or subsequent offense
occurring during any license year.
Any person viol.a~zng any provisi.ons of Sec~ions
~4-I, 4-~l.l, 4-1.2 or 4~-1.~, other than ~hose set forth above,
sha1l be guxl~y o~ a misdemeanor.
Section 2. This ordinance is hereby and it i.s declared to
be in fu~l ~orce ~.nd e~fect ~rom and after thxrty days a~ter the
da~e o~ i~s passage, and be~are ~he expiration of ~i~teen days
af~er ~ts passag~, this ardinance sha1.1 be p~zblished o~ce with
the na.mes of the members o~ the Baard of Superv3sors voting for
and agains-~ it ir~ the Orovi ~ le ~Eercury ~
newspaper published in the County af Butte, State o~ California.
