AN ORDINANCE AMEND~NG SECTION 4-3
OF THE BUTTE COUNTY CODE
The Board o~ Supervisors o~ ~he County o~ Butte, State o~
Ca~~~ornia, D4 ORDAIN, as ~o].lows:
Seetion ~.. That Sect~on ~-3 of ~he Butte County Code is
hereby amended to read as follows:
Sec. 4-3. License requi.red o~ kennel. awners.
Every person who owns or cozztrols a kennel or oth~r
place in ~he uni.ncorpora~ed areas of the County where more
than ~~ve (5) dogs over the age o~ ~o~r (4) montks are kept,
for any purpose whatsoever, shall obtaim a kennel licer~se
during the morath o~ J~z1y of each year or within ~hirty (30)
days after the kennel is es~ablished.
Secti.on 2. This ordinance is hexeby ~.nd it is declared
to be in ~ul~ ~orce and e~fect ~ram and a~ter thirty days after
the dat~ of ~ts passage, and before ~he expiratio~ o~ fz~teen
days a~ter its passage, this ordinan.ce shall be pub~ashed once
with the names of the mem.bers o~ ~the Board o~ ~upervisors
voting ~or and agains~ it in the Chi co News and Review
newspaper published i,n ~he County of Butte, State o~ Ca~ifornia.
