AN ORDINANCE ES~ABLISHING SP~ED ~I~ITS aN CERTAIN ROADS
WITHIN ~H~ COUN~Y OF BUT'I'E, STATE 0~ CALIFORNIA
(Vehicl~ Code Section 22358}
~ 1 The Board of Superv~sars of the Coun~y af Butte, State o~ California,
2 does ordain as ~ollows:
3 Section 1: Said Board finds and determines that upon the basis o~ an
4 enganeering and traffic svrvey, the Butte Coun~y highways here~nafter described
fi come within the prov~sions of Section 22358 of the Veh~cle Cade of the State
8 of California, in that a speed limit of fifty-five (55} miles per ~aur is mo~e
7 than is reasonab~e and safe on said nighways and determines and declares a
8 prima fac~e speed limit on such $utte Coun~y highways as ~allaws:
9 That a px~ma fac3e speed l~mit of thirty-~~ve (35) miles per hour is
10 hexeby determined, de~cared and establ~shed an~ that SP~ED LIMTT 35 MILES signs
1~ be placed a~ apprapriate loca~ions on the hexeinafter~described County highway
~~ to wit:
1~ CUSSICK AV~N~E FROM WEST LTNDO AVE~UE TQ NORTH END.

speed limits established herein with3n thirty (30) days of the adoption hereof.
This o~dinance s~a~~ take e~~ect t~irty {30) days after its passage, and
before the expiration of fifteen {15) days after its passage, z~ shall be
published with the names o~ ~he members vat~ng for and against t~e same, once
in a~oca~ n~wspaper published in the County of Butte, State of Ca~ifornia.

State o~ Cal~fornia, at the regular ~eeting thereof on the 16th day
