AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 19.10
OF THE BUTTE COUNTY CODE
RELATIVE TO OFF-S~TE SEWAGE DISPOSAL
The Board o~ S~pervisors of the Cou~ty o~ Butte, S~a~e
o~ Califarnia, DO ORDAIN, as ~oZ~ows:
Sect~on 1. That Section 19.10-~ be added to Section 19.10
of ~h~ Butte County Code to read as ~ollows:
Section 19.1d-1. Excep~ions where local publ~c agencq
invo~ved.
A local pub~~c agency hav~~g an elected governing board
having jurisdictian over real property may apply to th~ Board
a~ Supervisars for an exception ~o allow ano~her loca~ public
agency or a nonpro~it corporation which owns adjacent real
praperty to expand an existing septic tank and/or l~ach field
sys~em by location on the applicant's property. Such exception
if granted, sha~l automatieally texm~na~e upon the subseq~ent
sale, lease, trans~er, change of ownership or change of use o~
either parcel or availability o~ public sewer to the adjacent
parcel.
Any applicatian made pursuan~ ~o this sect~on which ~s
granted sha~~ be subjec~ ~o and comply with a11 ot~er appli-
cable ordinane~s, recor~menda~ions by the health officer, the
t~rms and cond~t~ons o~ a written agreement between the
par~ies which has been app~oved by said health officer and
recorda~ion of any s~ch approved agreement.

Section 2. Thzs ordinance is hereby and it is declared
to be i.n ~ul~ force and effect ~rom and after thirty d~.ys a~ter
~he da~e o~ its passage, and be~tore the expi.ration o~ fi~teen
days a~ter its passage, thz.s ordinance sha~~ be publ~.shed once
wi~h the names o~ the members of the Board of Supervisors
vo~ing for and against ~.t in the Orovi7le Mercury, a
newspaper published in the Cou~ty of But~e, S~ate o~ Cali~ornia.
