5ectio~ 7 that Section No. 4 of Ordinanc~ ~o. 2252 af the County of 8utte
entit7ed SALARY PLAN FOR ~LECT~D AND APPOI~TED OFFiCIA~S is hereby amended by
add~~g ther~to the folTow~ng:
(E) Salary Adjustment for Appointed and E]ected Offic~ais.
E~f~ctive February 7, i987 thraugh March 6, ~987, the salary for A~po~nted
Department Heads Section ~o. 4(A) and Elected O~ficTa~s Sec~ion No. 4(B) shall
be i~creased over the amaunt shown in Section ~a. 7(R} Biweek7y 5aiary Ra~es
by five percent (5%} rounded to the n~arest dol7ar. Beginning March 7, 1987
the sa7ary far Appointed Departmen~ Heads Section No. ~(R) and Elected O~ficia7;
Section No. 4(B) sha11 be adjusted to reflect a two and on~-half percen~ ~22%)
increase rounded to the neares~ doT1ar aver ~he amaun~s in Sectio~ 7(A) Biwe~kl;
Saiary Rates tabie.
This ordinance shali take effect an Fe6ruary 7, 1987 , which ~s
beyond 30 days af~er the date of i~s adop~ion; and before the expiration of
fifte~n (15) days after its ~assage, it shai7 be pub1ished in a newspaper in
the Coun~y af Bu~~e, S~ate af Cal~fornia.
