The Board o~ Supervisors of the Caunty of Butte, State of California,
under and pursuant to Chapter 24-29 0~ the But~.e Caunty Code of said County', DO
ORDAIN, as fallows:
SECTION 1. ~'he herainafter descrzbed area situated in th~ County of
$utte, ~tate of Cali~ornia, shall be and it is hereby zoned as a C-2 (General
Commercial.) pistrict, and such area sha11 be subject to the restrictions and
restric#.ed uses and regu].ations pursuant to Butt~ Caunty Code Section 24-1fl5.
~aid area so zoned being located in tha unincorporated area of Bu~te
County, Chico, more ~articularly described as follows:
A portion of Lot 9 of the EVANS TRACT which was filed in the of~rice
of the RecordEr of ~he County of Butte, State of California, November
1.6, 1894 in Book 3 of Maps at ~'age 67 more particu~7.arly' described as:
Baginning at the S~ corner of said Lo~ 9, bexng in canter of Lassen
Avenue, thence southwesterly a1.on.g the centerline of Lassen Avenue
a distance of 30~ ft.; then~e northwasterly and paral~eling the
easterly lot line of said Lot 9 a distance o~ 2T3 ft.; thence
north~aste~~.y on a Iina parallel to th~ southerly lot l.ine of said
Lot 9 a distance of 300 ft.; ~hence southeasterly al.ong the easterly
line of Lot 9 a dista~ce o~ 273 ft. to the point of beginning.

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby declared ~o be in
fu11 ~rorce and effect from and af~.er thirty (30) days after the date of its
passage, and befare the expiration of £ifteen (15) days after its passage, this
Ordinance sha11 be publi.shEd once with the names of the members of the ~'oard of
Supervisors voting for and agains~. it in the Chico Enterprise RECOrd, a newspap
published in. the County of Butte, State of Cali.fornia.
