RESOLUTION ACCEPTING TN FO?aG APPORTIONMENT TO COUNTY OF BUTTE OF
FETJERAL-AID SECONDARX AND STATE I~IGHi~TAY MATCHING FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works, of the State of California,
has notified the County of Bette that under the California Secondary Highway
Act of 1951, as amended, the following funds for the fiscal year ending
June 30, 1962, are apportioned to Butte County:
Federal-Aid Secondary Fends - $149,600
State Highway Matching Funds ~ $100,000
and
WHEREAS the County of Butte desires to accept and match said funds,
NOW, TFH+~.EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE
C OUNTY OF BUTTE, State of California, as follows:
i. That County wishes to claim and utilize the entire amotuzt
of Federal..Aid Secondary Funds apportioned to County, to wit, the sum of
$149,600, and the entire amount of State Highway Matching Funds apportioned
to said County, to wit, the sum of $100,000;
That County hereby agrees to pxovide matching funds therefor
as may be necessary and required to complete the financing of County's
F.A.S. projects;
That this Resolution is made in compliance with Section
2211 of the Streets & highways Code of the State of California, and the
Clerk of this Board is authorized to forward three. certified copies hereof
to the District Engineer of the Department of Public Works of the State of
California.
The foregoing Resolution was introduced by Supervisor FrYde ,
who moved its adoption, seconded by Supervisor Steine~~er ,
