AN ORDINANCE AMENDING BUTTE COUNTY CODE
The Board o~ Supe~visors o£ the Coun~y o~ Bu~.te, Stat~
o~ Galifornia, DQ ORDATN, as follows:
Section 1. That 5ection 31-6 0£ the Butte County Code
is hereby aznended to read as follows:
Seation 31-6. I,iaense fees.
A1.1 1~censes sha1.1 be issued by the county hea~th
afficer. The license ~ee sha11 be estabZished by ordinance by
the Board o~ Supervisors. When the li.cense is first authorized,
the lz.cens~e shall gay the aforementioned fee to the county
h~alth vff~cer ~or ~.he balance of the ini.tial calendar year,
prior to issuar~ce o~ the license. Thereafter, the license fee
shal.l be paid be~ore the county health offi.cer annuaZly, ~.n
advance, on or before the ~enth business day in January o~ each
year. If a licensee fails to pay said fee by said date, his
license shall auto~natically terminate on such tenth bus~ness day
of Jan.uary and the former l.icensee shall thereafter apply ~o~r a
', new license in ful~. compliance with a~.l of the pravisions of this
.chapter if he desire to secure a n~w Zicerzse.
Sect~on 2. This O~dinance sha11 be and it is hereby
declared to be in ~u11 force and effect froin and after thirty
(30) days a~ter the date af its passage, and befor~ the
expiration of fifteen (15) days afte~ i~s passage, this Ordinance
shall be pub~ished on.ce with the names ot ~he members o~ the
Board of Supervisors vo~ing ~or and agaznst it ~n the En~erprise
