ORDINANCE NO. ~~~~
AN ORDINANCE OF THE C4UNTY OF BUTTE
ANiFND~NG SECT~ON 10-32 OF THE BUTTE COUNTY CODE
REGARDING STRE~T FACILITY TMPROVEMENT FEES
IN THE CH~C4 URBAN AREA
Section 1. Section 10-32 of the Butte County Code is hereby amended
to read as follaws:
Sec.~.4-32. Im o~ition of Street Faci.~.it Im rovemezzt Fees.
A street faci~ity in~provemen~. fee is he~eby assessed
and.I.evi~d upon the owners of real. property located in the
unincorpora~ed area of the County of Butte within the Chico
Urban Area at the time of the occurrence of any o~ the
following events affecting the i~provements to and/or use
of such property:
(a) The canstruction o~' a new building or structure on
such proparty;
(b) An alteration or addi~ian ~o an ~xisting non-
residential building or structure on such praperty whi.ch
results in an expans~on af the floor area of the building
or structure; and
(c} A change or expansion in the use of such property or
any building ar structure loca~ed thereon which results in
an increase in th~ number of mo~or vehicle trips g~ne~ated
by the use of the property or any bvil.ding or strueture
1oca~ed thereon based on the "average trip rates"
establ.ished by the ins~i~u~e o~ traffic engineers or other
recognized authority.

force and effect from and after thirty (3~) days a~ter fhe da~e o~ I
its passage, and before the expiration of ~ifteen E~5) days after its
passage, this Ordinance shall be gubZished once with the names of the
members af the Board of Supervisors vating for and against it in the
~nterpri5e Record , a n.ewspaper published in the County of
Butte, State o~ Ca~.ifornia.
