WTTH~N THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, S~A~E 0~ CALIF~RNYA
(Vehicle Code Section 22358}
1 The Board of 5up~rv~sors of ~he Coun~y of Butte, State of Californ~a,
2 does o~dain as follows:
3 Section ~: Said Boaxd finds and determines that upan the basis of an
4 engineering and traffic survey, the Butt~ County highways hereina~~er descr~bed
fi come wzthin th~ provisions of Section 22358 of the Vehic~e Cade of the 5tate
g of Ca1i£o~nia, in tha~ a speed limit af fi~~y-five (55) ~iles p~r hour is more
7 than is reasonable and sa~e on said highways and determines and declares a
$ pri~a ~acie speed lim~~ on such Butte Coun~y highways as follows:
g That a prima facie speed 1imz~ of th~r~y-five (35) miles per hour is
~~ hEreby determined, declared and esta~lished and that SPEED LTMIT 35 MILES signs
~~ be placed at appropria~e locations on the he~einafter-desc~zbed County highway

is hereby directed to erec~ appropriate signs giving notice o~ ~he pr~ma facie
speed limits estab~ished herein within thirty (30} days o~ ~he adoption hereof.
This ordinance sha11 take effect thir~y (3a} days after its passage,
and before the expira~ion of fifteen (15} days after its passage, it sha~1 be
pu~lished with the names of the m~mbers voting ~a~ a~d agains~ ~he same, once
in a~ocal newspaper published in tne County of Butte, State of California.

S~a~e of Calitorn~a, a~ the regular meeting thereof on the 22nd
