DO ORDAIN as follows: ~
5ec~ion 1 tha~ Article iII of th~. Butte County Code is hereby amended by
adding thereto Sectivn 2-20.7 EMFLOYMEN'T POLTCTES AND PRACTICES, as ~all.ows:
B. Be impowered to appoint an Assistant Chief Ad~nin.istrati.ve Officer who
sha11 serve at t~e pleasure of the Chief ,A~dministrative Officer. Said
appointment, te~rns and candi.ti.ons of employment and compensation sha1.1
be subject to the approval of ~he Board of Supervisars.
This ordinance sha1l talce effe~t on ~~n@ 24s ~9~9 , which. is
beyond tktirty (30) days a~te~ the date of its adoption; and before the expira--
tion of fzfteen {15) days after its passage it shall be published in a n.ewspaper
in ~he Coun~y of Butte, State of Ca~.ifarzzia.
