AN ORD~NANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24 QF THE BUTTE COUNTY
CODE TO ALLOW WOOD LOTS IN THE A, F-R, ANI7 T-M ZONING
DzSTRTCTS.
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, under
and pursuant to Section 24-29 of the Butte Caunty Code of said
County Code ~rdains as follows:
SECTF~N l.Section 2~-21-451 of the Butte Caunty Code
is hereby added:
wood Lots: An area or parcel of land used for
splitti~g, sawing, bundling, storing ana sale of firewood and
kinc~7.ing. The production or sa~.e of lumber is not included in
th~.s definition however, mill ends or scrap ~umber pieces may be
so~d on-sit~.
SECTION 2. Subsection (b) of Section 24-72, A-~
(Agricultural) ~one, is hereby amenc7ed to read as follows:
(b) Uses ~equiring us~ perm~.ts: The fol~ow~.ng uses
are pe~mitted subject to securing a use permit in each case:
(1) Go~.~ courses and country clubs;
(2} Public or quasi-public uses incl~tding churches,
firehouses, hospitals and cl.i.nics, parks and
playgrounds, schools, public u~ility buildings;
(3) Segregation ofi homesites, pursuant to the
~equiremen~s of Section 24-54;
{4) Segrega~ion of agricultural p~ocessing uses,
pursuant to the requirements of Section 24-55;

SECTZON 3. Subsect~on (a) of Section 24-75, A-10
{Agricultural~ Zone is hereby amended to read as follows:
(a) Uses permitted:

commercial 1~vestock, po~lt~y production, growing
and ha~vesting forest~y praducts, warehousing and
storage;
