AN ORDINANCE AMENDTNG CHAPTER 24 OF THE BUTTE COUNTY
CODE TQ ALLOW FOR THE RECORDATION OF AN AFEIDAVIT WZTH
THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN ADD~TIONAL DWELLING OF b40
SQUARE FEET.
The Board of Supervisors of th~ Coun~y o~ Butte, under
and pursuant to Sect.~on 2~-29 af the Bu~~e County Code of said
County orclains as follows:
SECT~ON 1. Subsection (a) of 5ection 24-202,
Construction of Adda.tional Dwelli.ng Unit, of the Butte County
Caae is hereby arnended to read as foll.ows:
(a) Conai~~.ons:
(1) The add~.tiona~ dwell~.ng unit is to contain
not more than six hundrec7 forty (640) square
feet in area.
{2) The dwelling uni.t is intended far the sole
occupancy of ane (1) adu1.~ or two ( 2) ac3ult
persons who are sixty (64) years of age or
o~er.
(3) An affidavit of compliance wi~h age
requirements anc3 numbe~ of p~rsons provided
for in this sec~ion shall. be r~corc~ed in the
office of the Recorder prio~ ~o issuance of
bui~.dir~g per~nits . Saic~ a~fidavit sha1~.

SECTTON 2. This Ordinance sha~~ be and it is hereby
d~c~ared to be in fu1~ fo~ce and effect fram an~ after th~rty
(30) days a£ter the date of ~ts passage, and be£ore the
expiration of fifteen (15) days afte~ its passage, this
Ordinance shal~ be published once with the names of the members
of the Board of Supervisors va~ing for and against it in ~he
Orovi~~e a news a e~ ublished in the County of Butte, State of

California.
