AN QRD~NANCE ~ETTING S~ECIF~~D ELECTIDNS FEES
The Board of Supervisors ot the County of Sutte o~dains as
follows:
Section ~:
Findings: The Board of Superviso~s makes the following ~indings:
A. Government Cade Section 54985 authorizes a caunty to increase
statutory and ather fees as necessary to recover the casts of
p~oviding any product or service.
B. The Board o~ Supervisors previously approved the conduct of a
~ee study ta determine costs of the Butte County ~lections Office
providing speci~ied products and services, and said study has been
completed.
C. A pub~ic hearing has been du~y noticed and held on August 28,
1990 pursuant to the req~irements o~ Govern3ment Code Section 54986 to
consider said study and ~o receive ora~ or written presentations
pertaining thereto.
Section 2: The fees speci~ied be~dw are hereby d~termined
necessary to recover the costs of providing the respective products or
services far which they relate and are he~~by established and adopted
as the applicable ~ee the~efore:

compe~ent jurisdiction, such part sha11 be deem~d ~~verable, and the
invalidity thereof shall no~ affect the remai ning parts of this
ardinance.

Th~s Ordinance shall be and it is her~by declared to be in f~l~
force and etfect from and a~ter thirty (30) days after the date of its
passage, and befo~e the expiratian of ~i~teen (15) days after its
passage, this Ordinance sha11 be publi~hed anc~ with the names o~ the
members o~ the Board of Superviso~s vating far and against it in the
Ch~co En~erprise-Record, a newspaper published in the County of Butte,
State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board o~ Supervisors of the Coun~y of
Butte, State of Caiifio~nia, on the 28th day of August, 1990, by the
