R~F~R~NC~: ~ Appointed and elected offi cials shoun in Reference A and B of this section, who are
members of the Public Eropl oyees' Retirement System, may elect to receive County payment
of the member~ s share of t he retirement cost or in lieu an acEditional percentage
applied to their biwee[c€y uage. The additional wage, when combined with the related
wage overhead cosf, shalt not exceed the amount of the County retirement contribution
to the member' s share of t he retirement cost.
NOTE: All Salary Amounts for References A and B are Step 5 of the Salary Range, except for Flat Ratas as noted.

This ordinanc~ shall take ef~ect immediately pursuant to
Section 25123(~) o~ the Government Code of the State of
Cali~ornia; and be~ore expiration of ~ifteen (15) days atter its
passage ~t shall be published in a newspaper in the County of
Butte, State of Cali~ornia.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Boa~d of Supervisors af the
