The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, DO ORDAIN as follows:
Section 1 that Section 2 of Ordinance 2047 is hereby
amended to read as follows:
Section 2 the salary of members of the Board of Supervisors
is $12,149 per year, which salary shall be paid bi-weekly at the
time and in the same manner that salaries are paid far other
county employees.
In addition to the aforementioned compensation, the Board
of Supervisors shall be eligible for the same fringe benefits
established by the Board for regular employees, including
participation in the Public Employees' Retirement System and the
employees' health and supplemental insurance plans as pre-exist
and as hereinafter amended. All mandatory employment-related
expenses, i.e., Social Security and Worker's Compensation
Insurance, shall be provided by the County.
Section 2 this ordinance shall take effect 60 days after
the date of its adoption, and before the expiration of fifteen
(15) days after its passage, it shall be published with the
names of the members of the Board of Supervisors voting for and
against the same in the Chico E/R , a newspaper published
in the County of Butte, State of California.

County of Butte, State of California, on the 29th day of
