HomeMy WebLinkAbout2918J 1 3 4 5 6 7 8 Ordinance No . 2918 ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 15-$2 OF ARTICLE III OF CHAPTER 15 OF THE BUTTE COUNTY CODE REGARDING WORK PERMIT APPLICATIONS FOR CARDROOM EMPLOYEES The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte ordains as follows: Section 1. read as follows: Section 15-82 of the Butte County Code is amended to 9 10 11 12 i3 14 I5 16 Ii 18 19 ~p 21 n2 ~. O~ 94 9 ~j 9~j ~7 2~ Section 15-82. Same-Fee. Each application for a work permit shall be accompanied by a local processing fee of twenty dollars ($2Q) plus an additional fee as established by the Department of Justice to cover the cost for processing finger prints. Said fees shall not be returned in the event that the work permit is refused, revoked, or suspended as hereinafter provided. The work permit shall be valid for a .period of one year. Only one work permit shall be required each year, even though the holder of the work permit may change his or her place of employment within the County. Section 2. Severability. If any part of this ordinance sha11 be held void by a court of competent jurisdiction, such part shall be deemed severable, and the invalidity thereof shall not affect the remaining parts of this ordinance. Section 3.
