California, DO ORDAIN as follows:
Section 1 that Article III of the Butte County Code is
hereby amended by deleting therefrom in its entirety Section 2-20
{b) EMPLOYMENT POLICIES AND PRACTICES, as follows:
B. Be impowered to appoint an Assistant Chief Administrative
Officer who shall serve at the pleasure of the Chief
Administrative Officer. Said appointment, terms and
conditions of employment and compensation shall be subject to 1,
the approval of the Board of Supervisors.
. This ordinance shall take effect on October 25, 1891 which is
beyond thirty (30} days after the date of its adoption; and before
:the expiration of fifteen (15} days after its passge it shall be
published in a newspaper in the County of Butte, State of
California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of California, on the 24th day of September 1~9~-.
