AN ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF
BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ANA 40 (AGRICULTURAL}
DISTRICT, PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 24-29.
1 " The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California,
2 under and pursuant to Chapter 24-29 of the Butte County Code of said County,
~ DO ORDAIN, as follows:
4 SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situate in the County
5 of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby zoned as an A-40
6 (Agricultural - 40 acre parcels} District, and such area shall be subject to the
7
restrictions and restricted uses and regulations pursuant to Butte County Code
8
Section 24~8L

10 Said area so zoned being located in the unincorporated area of Butte
~~ County, Chico, more particularly described as follows:
~2 All that certain real property situate in the County of Butte, State
of California, described as follows:

That portion of the S 1/2 of Section 21, and N 1/2 of Section 28,
34 T23N R1W MDB&M, lying W on the right-o£ way of the Southern
Pacific Railroad Company.

and other hydrocarbon substances below a depth of 500 feet under

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby declared to

be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30) days after the date of its

23 passage, and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage, this
24 Ordinance shall be published once with the names of the members of the Board
